Rules
Bid Your Store is one public leaderboard for stores and Instagram brands. Your position is decided by a single number: the dollar amount attached to your listing.
Ranking
- Bids are whole US dollars. A new listing starts at $5; the ceiling is $999,999. Amounts move in $1 steps.
- To take any spot, including #1, you only need to match the amount sitting there. Bidding less is fine: you land wherever your amount fits.
- When two listings hold the same amount, the newer bid ranks ahead. Matching a price takes that place.
- Use the same store link or Instagram handle to raise your own listing. Your new total has to be at least $1 above what you already hold.
- Store listings are keyed by domain; Instagram listings are keyed by handle. Tracking parameters are ignored.
What can be listed
- Only live store links and Instagram handles beginning with @ are accepted.
- Name, image and description are pulled through Context.dev and cached. You cannot supply custom artwork.
- Stores or profiles that go dark may be removed from the board.
When payments open
- Your rank is claimed the moment the payment completes, not when checkout opens.
- The listing is public. Every click goes to your store through a counted redirect.
- Bids are not refundable when you get outranked. Raise your bid to climb back.
Payments & disputes
- Payments are not open and no processor has been selected. No card details are collected today.
- A position can be overtaken at any time by a higher bid. That is how the board works, and it is not grounds for a refund.
- If something went wrong (a double charge, or a listing that never appeared), contact support on your receipt first. A chargeback filed without contacting us may result in the listing being removed.
- Nothing here limits rights that can't be waived under your local consumer law.
